How you sell your art is your next big consideration. The major outlets are door2door, local markets and online. Selling door to door although it has been done before can still be great. Supplying customers through markets can be a challenge as well as fun. The web is probably the place where you are thinking of selling. Selling through online auctions has more than likely occurred to everyone as well but has it's own flaws.Values on auctions are rubbish as far as the canvas art market goes. However if you only require a small profit then don't rule it out. What you sell is probably the most important thing. The selection will probably come down to conservative, modern as well as the outright mad. Traditional art will most likely include landscapes, portraits, still-life art and various of images. Modern art is a massive area too much to try to explain here. To keep it simple I will mention that there are many vivid colours out there. There are some weird shapes and styles out there with no holds barred. The outright bonkers art that is available can be on a journey. There are artworks that are so small they would fit into a small cupboard. There are works of art that are so big that they would not look out of place in a big hall.This almost definitely covers many of the beginnings of the oil paintings market and I hope it has helped a little.
